It is actually a dot regulation that requires them due to the width of the vehicle. Here is a photo of a raptor grille and hood on regular f150. 972 f150 raptor style grill products are offered for sale by suppliers on alibaba.com, of which car grills accounts for 14%. I have found them for 2017s, but with the 2018 2 bar grill update, maybe no one makes them yet?
